There's a laundry list of utility packed into Sony's PSP game system. Beyond the exciting gameplay and brilliant graphics, you can watch DVD-quality movies, use it as an MP3 player, and surf the internet via its built-in Wi-Fi. It's slim and lightweight making it conveniently possible to stay entertained wherever you go.

Great to have! Rider the commuter train? Going on a long trip? Or just wanna have fun? Then purchase the PSP. The graphics are great and the games are what you play on the actual Play Station. Definitely a great buy and also makes an awesome gift for someone.

I love my PSP!! If you travel a lot and enjoy movies, it's so convenient to use and have along. And if your into addictive games like the Sims, you will be toting this thing along with you to boring meetings and on long car rides!! When you aren't driving, of course. :)

The PSP is a great device to have not only for long road trips but if you use public transportation, it is definitely great to have that distraction. The games have awesome graphics and ability that I've never had in a portable game system, the UMD movies are high quality, and you can use it as an MP3 player if your iPod dies on you! There are also a lot of other great features that can be unlocked if you have the right tools such as WiFi Internet, taking pictures, and playing two player games with a friend that has a PSP. I definitely recommend it.

The PSP is absolutely essential if you travel, while it wont carry as much music as an iPod, iPhone or a Zune, it makes up for it by having a lot of other options. You can watch movies in UMD or download them on a media stick for viewing. The graphics are sharp and clear, the screensize is very nice. Oh, it plays games too! I'm currently playing through the Lego Star Wars series and Dead Head Fred on my PSP. One thing, make sure you get high quality headphones. There's a lot of crap on the market and after a while, your ears start to hurt. The headphones are strangely proprietary... which makes having multiple headphones necessary. Other than that, it's amazing.

I bought this for my husband for Christmas this year, so I asked what he had to say about it:
I mean basically, i like it, it has good graphics, but the game designers need to put a little more thought into gameplay. The games I have tried are good, and technically impressive, but Nintendo's games are a bit more compelling.
Also, there are far fewer good titles than on the DS. The DS has probably 50 really good games whereas the PSP probably has maybe 20 that are just good and 5 that are really good.
But despite that its still worth having if you are into handheld gaming. Plus the non-game features like RSS, Internet Radio, and other media capabilities are far far superior to nearly every other handheld device out there.
