Description

These coasters are a part of a collection commemorating the 2008 Summer Olympic Games, which began on a date which the Chinese consider to be extremely fortunate: 08/08/08. In Mandarin, the word for eight rhymes with the word for prosperity and wealth. And, similarly, each of these coasters bears a number imbued with good fortune: five for the "Five Good Fortunes"; six for prosperity and nine for forever.
