This eye-catching necklace of Peridot, Hematite and Sterling Silver by beadyize is a complex piece of workmanship.

The pendant on this necklace is made up of two separate pieces. The top part is a 10m natural peridot and sterling silver charm that mirrors the design on the disk below it, which is a 3/4" sterling silver disk that I have handstamped with a sunburst design. Both pieces are antiqued with a mellow patina. The disk is an inverted dome so the peridot charm nestles down in it.

The strand is made up of 3m peridot rounds, 2m hematite rounds and 3m Bali sterling silver daisy spacers. Sterling wire guards are used to attach this section to oxidized sterling silver chain.

Beside it being the August birthstone, periodot is associated with the heart chakra, and can be used to balance and stimulate that chakra. It is a stone of compassion. It has a friendly energy and is excellent for healing. It assists in rebirth and renewal of all kinds. Peridot also bring abundance and prosperity. It enhances the healing and harmony of relationships of all kinds, but particularly marriage.
