These are quite simply the best sandals ever made. Great for creeking, rafting and any water sports, but you can also easily hike in them with a light pack. I always wore Teva Alps and refused to jump on the Chaco bandwagon, but when I did finally get my first pair a few years ago I couldn't believe sandals could be this comfortable. You won't want to take them off as the seasons change and it gets cooler in the Fall. I wear them almost every day during the Spring and Summer, and after a while you don't even notice you have anything on your feet.

These Z/X models are new as of last year I think. These have 2 straps in an "x" pattern, which I find to be the most comfortable model yet because the 2 straps work independently and kind of move around a weird bone on my foot. I also like the Z/1 model. Some people like the Z/2 or Z/X2, and that's the only decision you have to make- do you want the toe loop or not? (via RockCreek.com)
