When Stranded on a Desert Island...A Wish List - a list by AVerte
About this list:
My family plays this strange game at holidays. It has variations but it always has a similar desert island survival theme: "If you could have one 3 foot square box dropped on your desert island what would be in it." I can't help but thinking others must do the same so I created this list of 20 items I would like to have on my island. The rule is that if I find something new I want, I have to throw an item off the list.
Qualifications:
A strange family and an overactive imagination.

Cupcake Couture
Updated Nov 22, 2008
Cupcakes are hip. Well compared to pies and and cookie bars they are truly the reigning queen of fashionable home baked goods. Petit Fours and tartlets are in their own snobbish club. This list is for those inspired to elevate the little cupcake to fame. A new breed of cupcake will emerge -- paparazzi are already on high alert.

Pretty much sums up what teenagers want. Boxes of dust gatherers, the latest trends, precious minutiae of our youth. Remember pet rocks, POW bracelets, 45s, anything from Woolworth's, sweat bands, macramé, singing flower pots, furby?? Here's a few ideas for our kids.
Beauty Gone Wild
Updated Oct 25, 2008
I am getting sort of tired of the words organic and natural. They do nothing to inspire me. But "beauty gone wild" makes me want to exfoliate every pore and let my skin be naked for the world to see. If only the world was ready for my stripped down skin... Until then, this list will have to suffice as my minimalist contribution to skin care au naturel.
